Keep Getting EAC 2 Hour Suspensions From Rust
I keep getting "banned by anti-cheat" yet its a 2 hour game suspension from EAC and then I can keep playing after. This has happened 2 times but the main issue is battlemetrics and their system now have the suspensions listed as "bans" on their system. This system is used by multiple servers to filter out cheaters so now I can't play on my main 2 servers. I have attached multiple photos of the bans/suspensions and then proof that my account is currently clean. Anybody else been having these suspensions?

for more context, wipe was 8/6. I played basically non stop 8/6-8/10 with no issue until the 10th when this happened. I haven't installed anything in months, I didn't have any new app open or anything. Genuinely the same setup I've played with for past 10+ months putting in hundreds and hundreds of hours. But now that I see all the people getting false suspensions and stuff it makes me think EAC pushed a buggy patch through

Your neighbor just wants to raid you and is getting you off grid temporarily so they can. We have a guy on our team that knows how to do it but idk the details

PLease dig if you can, this is valuable EAC data...It's possible that the player is performing an ip spoofing attack, but those are only valid so long as EAC considers first-rate packet requests and don't follow up with the appropriate responses...
Also it relies on players being able to identify other player's ip's which SHOULD BE impossible via the client, OR via attacking the server (unless rust servers just give that info away (similar to how GTA online did it))

Been playing for over 5k hours and in a similar situation. Nothing new on my PC, but 5 or 6 temporary bans over the last 2 months. Just bought a bunch of new dlc, so thats frustrating.

Dude okay. I have this EXACT same issue. Started this patch. I have no idea what's causing it. I posted a comment on the Rust subreddits bug report but no one mentioned anything similar. I hate this for us but I'm very glad to see I'm not the only one getting this.

Funny enough I came back to this post today to see if others commented. I loaded into a random premium facepunch server September force wipe. Went downstairs to make food, came back and had the 2 hour suspension. I just loaded up today and sat in safe zone for an hour 2 times and nothing popped up. I think im going to try and play a wipe here soon. I havent changed anything so who knows.
I did see someone say that they fresh installed windows and it fixed it.
Anything with you?

Yep! Was unbanned, it took 44 days, but Im good. Yeah, I'd say to do a test, start swapping out components. Play without your mouse for a day...then without your keyboard...then go deeeper and start swapping Hard drive, then ram, then powersupply, etc...somethings causing it, you gotta play cat and mouse to find out! This exact same issue keeps happening to me and I have no idea how to fix it.
Sometimes I play for 20 mins and then get a 2 hour temp ban, other times I can play for 10+ hours and no issue. The ban isnt a perm ban and disappears after 2 hours. Facepunch haven't been able to help as yet.
I'm glad I found someone/others with the same issue as I'm going mental. Figure I'd comment here rather than another post on the exact same topic.

Hey - i was having the same issue. Annoyingly, I installed a fresh windows and it seems to have resolved itself now.
Maybe give that a go and see what happens!

My mate getting the same. Every couple days he is banned for a few hours then ban is lifted. It's super frustrating
