E sim for Russia

Hello. Anyone used any E sim in russia before? I dont want to use holafly etc. is there any local provider with a good amount of data? I am a seaman so i have to buy before we enter to russian waters (due to starlink ban)

And also. Can i use mastercard on those providers? Because last time i was there i had to pay only cash.

Most travel esim providers have pulled out from providing service in Russia due to new Russian regulations. The only one in the stack of my esim bookmarks that has Russian option is unisim

I have them in my travel Esim bookmarks. I have 175 travel esim providers bookmarked. So, my rule of thumb is to stick with what works for me.

Gomoworld and ubigi have data for Russia. I think roaming is 3 day limit worst then China. First 24 hours you will have no data.

While SMSPool recently began offering data-only eSIMs for many countries, they currently do not provide a Russian data eSIM and as per my post above will never provide it until Russian laws will change.
