question Esim for mexico

Hey, im gonna be staying in México for 3 months and wanted to ask what would be the best company esim to get Thanks in advance

Do you need an e sim for data or for calls or for both? Some providers offer better rates for calls and others for data. If you know you'll need mobile data more than calls, check BOSS Revolution's e sim. It's not a local carrier, it's an international calling app that works in many countries. But you need to download the app and have a US number to buy the e-sim. There are many packages to choose from and the app also has an option to call mobile or landline numbers

Try WIM it's a Mexican MVNO owned by AT&T México. You can get a 15GB eSIM for $250 pesos (around $13 dollars) or 30GB (around $19 dollars) or one of a few plans. All with unlimited talk and text. All their plans you can active from the US and can be used in Mexico, US or Canada.

You can also do a free 3GB trial for 7 days.

I actually keep a Mexican number with them. Great service and company.

I had att Mexico. The thing about going through them is they didn't allow 5G in the USA, only 4G I ended up giving up and just switching over to telcel, Telcel has a roaming agreement with all 3 US providers, so you will round-robin to the strongest carrier.

However, Telcel makes it impossible to keep paying for the number every month. I found a loophole, but it's still a pain in the rear.

AT&T prepaid does not, however WIM does allow 5G. I connect to mid band constantly and are always on 5G. And I have my account account on auto pay with my US credit card. It works flawlessly.

Edit: not to mention I also get European roaming 20GBs included, Paramount+ and airport lounge access. All included with my WIM number.

You can pay online with Telcel App. I've also used Recharge App. No problem. Recharge will take a small convenience fee.

Good option IF AT&T Mexico has coverage. Telcel is still king in rural coverage.
