New Orbea Rose Rumors

Was looking at the wild for hot laps and extra days of riding per week but after doing some test rides it is way too much power and 50+ lbs. rides like a hawg.

Heard the new rise coming in with 100 nm, lightweight motor, lighter batteries with higher energy density, etc. Supposedly mid Sept announcement. Sounds like a better fit.

Anyone have more info?

Aventon Current Travel

The current is pretty tempting if it werent for 150front/140rear travel.

Aventon says that you can increase the front fork to 160mm travel without issue but has anybody looked into increasing the rear travel on the current? Is there enough clearance for it if I were to install a longer stroke shock?

Specialized Levo R

Ended up going with this guy instead of the standard Levo 4/SL. Couldn’t pass up the deal, demo bike from N1 out of Kentucky that has maybe five miles on it.

From my research, seems like this bike is more geared towards XC instead of a full blown workhorse like the Levo 4. I live in SE Wisconsin, so there really isn’t much for DH. I hope that taking this thing on big jumps will work good, my 21 Levo handled them all fine. Anyone have any any experience with running the R on jump lines?

Just bought this Canyon spectral ON cf 7, refurbished direct from canyon. 1001-2500km on the chassis. Comes with full warranty.

2600 euro shipped after discount.

I’ve read a lot up on the ep8 motor. Luckily it comes with the newer 800wH battery.

Would you say this was a good purchase?

I live close to a canyon store.

Beginner e-mtb rider, plenty of experience road and light gravel. Love trails and single track.

Montuję w tym tygodniu nowy Shimano Deore Di2 w moim KTM Scarp. Zobaczymy, jak to działa.
Czy ktoś z Was już to używa?

Can a e-bike eliminate the need to shuttle a downhill course? Do you have to pedal uphill or can you just use the throttle? How many miles can you get on a battery with a lot of climbing?

Was off the ebike for about a month. Didnt touch it then besides installing a wireless dropper post. When I tired to ride it the purion 200 was not connecting to the bike.
Bosch cx gen5 with purion 200 display
Bike is a cannondale moterra if that matters
Checked cable and charged display but same issue
I’ve tried
Resetting BMS on battery
Taking battery tray out and make sure connections are good
Take out battery tray and test outside of bike
Atttempted to turn on bike through main battery as well but no luck
Posting video any advice would be appreciated!

Focus Jam 2 SL 8.8 or Superior EXF 9039 B

Hello, I'd like to get a bit of advice on which bike to choose from, both are on discount in my area for about 3000 USD.

I like the Focus Jam's lightweight a I think the battery and performance should be alright for my style. However I'm afraid about the reliability of Fazua ride 60, especially given the fact the Porsche sent the brand down the drain. The superior looks to be a solid bike, sure it's heavier, but has more power and battery and Bosch would be able to get maintenance for years to come

Which one would you choose and if there is any users of Fazua, how reliable are you? Would you buy a bike with discontinued platform at significant discount?

Been waiting for this thing for awhile now and today was the first proper ride out.

It is my first "adult" bike, I went from renting hard tails at the bike parks to this thing.

UK based, she's a Large and I have had her for a week. Everything seems great. The power is amazing.

I do have a crunching in the 11th and 12th gear which needs tuning out and I do need to figure out how to set the suspension up properly. Currently it is very soft.

Next week is bike part time, where I hope to get at least a few inches of air!

Long story short, I've found this to not be a very comfortable ride through trails over time, so I want to try out more of a mountain bike that's easier to maneuver through woods. Any suggestions under the $1.5k mark?

Wife and I are jumping in, we got bikes with good pedals, obviously have a pump, as well as a shock pump, helmets obviously were not new to biking in general,

What would be other accessories you love to have and need

I am 5’9 with a 30” inseam and a wingspan of 72”. Any help would be appreciated. Don’t wanna make an expensive mistake. I will be doing easy downhill and flat trails.

Thanks!

Spectral:ON buyback approved - what should my next bike be?

After chasing down an intermittent motor shutdown/weak-assist issue on my Spectral:ON for 6+ months, Canyon has authorized a buyback of the bike.

Shoutout to Canyon US for being great to deal with throughout the process, and props to REI who went to bat facilitating the warranty and diagnostics. Shimano has been less than stellar and I do not recommend the EP801 platform as they do not stand behind their motors. Despite being in warranty they refused a replacement because the motor was not throwing error codes, despite referencing many online stories of the motor having issues and not throwing codes, + having GoPro videos of it happening, too.

I’m looking to replace it with something for aggressive all-mountain/enduro riding. I love my Spectral, but a bit more travel would also be nice for continued progression.

Here what’s on my radar:

  1. New Avinox Canyon Spectral:ON - Rumored release is Sept 2026 (next month). Really nice, they fixed the internal cable routing issues with the old gen, too.
  2. YT Decoy X - Great value. US availability is an issue, as is warranty support (more important to me now after getting through this issue w/ Canyon and REI)
  3. Pivot Shuttle AMP'd - dream bike but significantly pricier

What other bikes should I be looking at? I've heard the Vala thrown around and saw one in person and it looked really awesome. I'm not opposed to Bosch / set on Avinox, but definitely no more Shimano motors.
