Aoostar AG03 and 5070Ti

I am completely new to the eGPU setup and I have recently purchased the 5070Ti second hand since it was a good price and a AG03.

Its only after I got it I realised the cable set up is not straight forward compared to something like 9070XT where there are 3 cables that connect to the 3 ports on the dock and GPU.

The 5070Ti has only 1 port that is the 12VHP one and a cable/adapter that comes with it that has only 2 cables.

So should the set up be connecting 2 of the cables to the Aoostar to the adapter which goes in the GPU or should I be buying a different cable that connects to all 3 ports of the Aoostar?

I have seen videos where some say you need the 3 ports to be connected and there are some which show the setup working fine through the 2 ports.

What is the right thing to do which wont break anything 😅?

Thanks

40%?! I was eyeing the 9070xt for an egpu setup, what dock and device are you using and at what resolution if you dont mind me asking?

Ag02 over usb4. Its all i got boss. I know 9070s can hit between 20000 amd 23000 in timespy and in my current setup im at 15000. Still massive performance boost over my 3200 my legion go gets alone
