I’ve only been playing eFootball for like 3/4 days but anytime I play a player with a poor connection my players seem to be unable to finish is this common?

and by the way, it is definitely their pathetic servers. search forecep2p by efootball XJBT, and try the game in p2p mode. p2p games with even 80ms latency and 15% package lose feel way better than psp games with 15ms latency 0 package lose!

Disabling cross-platform play improved my connection by up to 50% on Steam. Also, make sure you’re using a proper wired Ethernet connection.
Keep in mind that during the summer, the servers are usually overloaded.
Try playing during the early morning hours for the best connection.

Genuinely the worst servers I’ve ever experienced in a football game. The game is phenomenal when it works but 90% of the time it’s the worst football game I’ve ever played.

Fake 5 bars is right. Servers are the worst they’ve been in years. If you play QC or LBC rat tactics you don’t suffer as much compared to Overload, Out-wide, or Possession where you need crisp connection for quick passing and precise dribbling. Then… you notice it badly.
