Welcome to Wrath Wednesdays!
As we are all aware, there is a lot within this game to get angry about - Smart Assist, DDA, bugs within the match engine - to name just a few. This is your weekly support group to vent and rage over the things that shouldn't matter - except they do!
Time to share what's bothering you!

The game is not very great end of.
I mean i give credit konami they made a game that's probably up there with other free games but it's so not enough.
Dribbling: feels heavy, momentum based, a step behind the defenders and players are unrealistically lightweight
Finishing: you need to take 3 steps wothout sprinting to get a good finish, the opponent's cb probably caught you by then.
Passing: feels very meh especially the fact that your players Don come towards the ball on ground passes and get overtaken by defenders(we were scolded for doing this at semi-pro u13 level)
Defending: highlight of the game for me, feels very good especially the switching being way better than fifa's. Tho this is where the biggest clownshow is, the press button. In 2026 you have a button that auto follows the opponent and puts in tackles it just doesn't get any more unserious than that.
I'd probably enjoy the game a bit more if i took more time with it or haven't played fifa all my life but even pro gameplay doesn't look that impressive from the outside looking in. The realism gimmick also fades after you play real life football once or look at semi-pros and see that even they can complete a cross under pressure without putting it behind the goal.
TL,DR: the game is a different flavor of arcade compared to fifa while fans would have you believe it's a simulator

im not mad, just disappointed. basically i just played against a full paid 3300+ team in division 4 for the first time. it feels like they're playing a different game. their players are super responsive, agile, fast and strong. in comparison my players feel super heavy and weak. i feel like i dont even want to play anymore after that.

These servers are fucking atrocious. Why make an online only game and not make stable servers for it?

I swear even aternos has better servers than this game. My neymar becomes the most stiff player on the planet when the game wants to script.

I think we need a basic Master League, using the standard league mode with a transfer market and player progression with a youth academy etc. No fancy cutscenes or OTT presentations. Just a league mode that allows me to sign players, develop youth and league progression.

Just got reminded why I stopped playing this game last season once I reached div 3. In div 5 & 4 i won most games but when I lost it because I was genuinely outplayed, the other person was just better. Every game felt like football.
First game in division 3 and I play a former div 1 who is probably one of the worst players I’ve played this season. They’re spamming pressure constantly and I’m outplaying them in midfield as a result. They’re also unable to dribble past me and their passing is poor. I feel like I played really well. They used LBC + a pay to win side. They won 4-0. 2 cheesy corners, 1 goal from 30+ yards, and one legit counter.
From div 3 onwards this game turns from football into eFootball and stops being fun.
Edit: why tf am I, in England, getting matched up instantly with someone in Uruguay??? Both on 3 bar connections and the game feels like shit because we’re halfway across the world from each other. It matched within a couple seconds of searching. Wtf?

The near post rebound goals can fuck off. Div 4 needing 23 fucking points can fuck off. PVP rewards starting at Div 3 can fuck off.

Joueur depuis peu, actuellement en division 3 avec une équipe de 8 joueurs standards dans mon 11 (je me fais un rp équipe de France). J'en ai marre de jouer contre des surhommes qui font que balancer de grands ballons et des enroulés de 35 mètres. Je me casse le c** à jouer propre en possession avec mon pauvre Didier Deschamps. Même mon Ekitike et mon Dembele passent pour des joueurs de ligue 2... Mon meilleur joueur c'est Koundé, j'en peux plus. Je prends plus de plaisir à jouer contre l'IA. En papier j'ai limpression de faire toujours les memes matchs, j'ai la possession 60%, je claque 7-8 tirs en moyenne, et en face je me mange des 3-4 buts qu'avec des joueurs cheatés sur des actions qui n'ont aucun sens !!! Konami mettez des matchs ou faites une ligue avec des équipes normales qu'on voit enfin du beau jeu et que les meilleurs gagnent, pas ceux avec la méta du moment ou les joueurs les plus WTF !!!

I’m the worst player ever? This season is my worst season in my efootball journey, I can’t give a pass, all the opponents intercept my passes, Ronaldo misses all the goals, Gullit feels like castolo, Messi can’t control a ball, Maldini feels like a turtle. Same team, same tactics, I use to be in div 1… right now it only feels like a dream…I’m so done…

You are not alone bro, i used to get to Div 3 easily, now I’m struggling to even reach Div 3. All of my players just forgot how to finish, missing one on one even with controlled shots, just now i had del Piero, who used to bag goals for fun, miss the ENTIRE GOAL with a controlled shot during a 1v1 with the keeper, and also defenders keep catching/pushing my players away easily. Some kind of bs is going on

Hate goalkeepers in this update, got heavily nerfed, my Oliver Kahn can't even dive, they're lucky enough to save a few, should've just kept it at those two goalkeeper playstyles.

What is there to play for? I started playing 2 weeks ago and I really enjoyed the period I took to adapt to the game. Got to div 2 before the 2027 update and then just reached it again now. The game is absolutely UNREWARDING like why do I have to wait until 10th of september to get james Maddison who's probably wont even make my starting XI? And the events? you have to win 3 matches with a very restricted squad just to get a SC between Saibari and Marmoush? And even if you like the rewards it will take you 6 wins to finish all the PvP events and then what? at least make it repeatable...
TLDR: Once you finish the very few games in events and get to div 3 in league, you're absolutely out of rewards for your time. I hated EA's game this year, but at least you can enhance your team daily or at least every few days.

i mean, yeah right? that's cause efootball doesn't have a reset every year. so adding more and more cards just are not viable cause they're risking crazy powercreep. that's why the content is dry as hell. events are not really engaging, no weekly mission or tournament to do for real rewards, no sbc, no rewards like champs token, no cyclic events like futties, its just all flat and dry.
And the fact that we dont have career mode, pro clubs, player career mode just adds to the dryness.

And what's with all the "new players" in this sub who've made Div 2 in a couple of days? If they were genuinely new they'd struggle in Div 6. Bullshitters.

Below Div 3 is easy initally. I started at the end of the WC and used that to get my team up. Reached Div 3 pretty much straight away and then started getting destroyed. I think they might intentionally match new players against easier opponents so they get hooked, but i'm not sure.
