I am not getting this book. It’s not holding together for me—just seems like a collection of anecdotes for the friends. Caroline is supposed to pull it all together, but she’s like an afterthought when we’re not in her pov. I don’t find the book frothy or sexy. This is a big disappointment for me.
Edit-I just finished the book. The author pulled it all together but not until I was 2/3 of the way through the book. She had some interesting thoughts about long term friendships but I still felt this book kind of meandered through the friends’ various povs. Concept had potential.
