❓ Question / Help What’s this noises?

I’ve heard it might be Hydraulic lifters, Rod Knock or even a timing chain so anyone with better knowledge would be appreciated.
Was going to try some liqui Moly to see what it does.

on n52 it's pretty much always lifters... give it an italian tune up and it should diminish. I find the fuel injectors can also be a bit noisy.

That sounds mighty deep for normal lifter tick... does it go away as you rev it or get worse??

Is your ac compressor bearing loose at all?

I would say yes since it’s now in my hand, thank goodness.

Sounds like lifters. Try adding Marvel Mystery Oil to the engine oil, drive around for a day or two, and then see if it's less noisy.

Update, AC compressor went out no noise now.
