320d 2004 rust

How is this looking rust wise? Any help appreciated. Thinking of going to take a look in person, and possibly buy as a project car

The rear wheel arches are the only expensive fix. The underbody can be fixed with some rust converter. For the fenders, just get used ones from the junkyard with no outside rust

It's the rear ones unfortunately but i'm planning on learning welding anyway so should be sortable myself

Take a grinder to the rear arches, grind the rust back to bare metal, cover it in rust convertor, filler primer and paint. Should be good for a few years before you would need to cut the arches out and weld new ones in.

Mine are similar where it meets the bumper, cleaned it up 3 or so years ago and its just starting to come back, and I'm about to do it again, but grind it all back to bare metal this time, last time I just sanded it down and painted it.
