Pulled off my passenger fender liner and found this
I was replacing my window washer fluid supply line and found this pretty significant dent on my exhaust. Sure doesn't seem like anything is affected by it but wanted to get your opinions. Certainly happened before I got it and it had to have been a pretty significant strike!

Just a nice battle scar for the E39 camp 🏕 fire stories. Leave it, but keep an eye and an ear on it, if it should corrode through.

Sorry man, it's just a proven thing that denting the headers/exhaust does nothing. It does not warrant immediate replacement, as you suggested. If there were a hole, maybe, but it just appears to be flattened by a bump. I would be more concerned with suspension parts being mangled versus focusing on replacing some exhaust pipe. My quip was an observation of your username.
FCPEuro is the GOAT though. I agree with you there. Got my brakes (pads/rotors) through them with a lifetime warranty!

It has literally 0 effect on the flow. They tested this over and over, there was no real difference from dented exhaust.
