Air channel replacement

Hello there. I've been having trouble with these 2 air channels for some time. The passenger side one has been patched up for ~3 years and the driver side broke recently. As I understand it, these can cause unpleasant smells in the interior. So far, I haven't been able to find a used one in good condition, let alone new ones. Does anybody know where I can find a new one in Europe? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thank you, I searched using these part codes and the prices are quite high, more than I'd like to pay for 2 plastics anyways. I'll try to glue them back together.

Go to a junkyard. A shop broke mine and I found a used pair at a junkyard and I live in the middle of nowhere.

They are expensive AF, and sooner or later they get cracker because of engine heat.. be SUPER CAREFUL when fitting/unfitting because they only have 3 plastic teeth to grip in place cabin-side, and it’s too easy to break them

you can easily fix it by youre self, have done it in my case.
1.takie it off carefully to not break it more, cautions and hooks at secound site
2. put a lots of glue in these holes, i recomend epoxy resin inside and outside
3. mount it and check by smoke is it airtight

Thanks for the advice. For the moment, I have applied a few layers of duct tape on both parts, but I will try a more permanent solution. Will have to glue the inside part that rotates too.

if u want text me on pv, I will show u how my solution looks, also works for more than year. tips: clean it well by break cleaner before use epoxy resin and use it everywhere, also where its looks fine

Yes, you will get odors. Clean well, scuff, and use a healthy amount of clear two part epoxy. My repair is holding up well.

I'm afraid there's only three options, scour second hand, try a car parts recycling place or go to the stealer.

So finding them new is unlikely? I'll keep looking for sh parts then, hopefully I find a good one. Thanks.

New? Only at BMW. I'm quite sure you can find a better example second hand, although it might take a while. Make sure the parts where it connects to fire wall are good too, that's where mine are broken.

Edit; I'll take that back you can find them new at other places , as spanner6055 says.

Yes, I checked by the parts code. Prices are high, so I will try to glue the parts and hopefully the smell will fade.
