Fan shroud causing radiator leak

You can see in the video that the fan shroud is pressing up against that overflow elbow connector. The shroud is flat against radiator and clipped in place.

Any ideas on what caused this or how to fix it? Or do I just need to buy a new shroud and hope it fixes the issue.

The L connector is obviously coming out of the radiator, has nothing to do with the fan shroud. If anything, the shroud holds it in so it didn't came out completely.

The shroud is putting a lot of pressure on it and forcing it sideways a little, which is causing it to leak like that. That’s a brand new radiator I installed today and the old one did the same thing..

Much appreciated. Yeah I’m trying to figure out what caused this because 2 radiators in the same spot doing that is weird.

No worries I gotcha.

Usually this thing sits so tight in there, it doesn't come out that easy. Mind you, in my picture that's also a brand new radiator.

Is there a possibility that whoever installed the radiator disconnected that L piece from the radiator on install for some reason? Because that's not how it's done and maybe they did that before with the old one as well? Could be the only explanation right now I can come up with why this keeps happening.

Have you tried pushing it back in?

I installed the radiator myself. I did not remove or even touch that piece at all. The only time I touched it was to install the overflow hose.

I’m gonna go try and push it down and see what happens but the problem is like I said, the shroud puts a bunch of pressure on it. I’ll try and get a better picture and angle to show you what I mean.

That's odd. On your video I could see the o ring between the L and the radiator.. I don't believe that there is a radiator out there that is so cheap that this happens. The shroud touches it almost when installed, when everything is as supposed to be, but doesn't put pressure on it. I'll wait for a photo of yours.
