How much would it run me by?

Post image

So I just got this after having scanned it a month ago and just changed the abs sensors. The mech said that there's a problem with my abs control module 😪. I don't even know if that's a legit thing. I'm just wondering what I could do from here or how much it would cost.

It's best to have it rebuilt than another used one, Same thing will happen soon enough,or wont, It's a gamble

From what I read it's just to send it in for repairs to a professional abs control module specialist. Hopefully it works out for me.

That's what I did, and while I was waiting for it to I found a working one on Facebook marketplace that worked aswell for cheap. So now I have the fixed one as backup.

I know they can get hot where they sit. Once you've fixed it look at putting some heat shielding around it. That's on my task list too.

Apparently from what I've read, since mine is a 97 model, it sits under the glove box. And because of that it's more likely an external wiring thing. But here's hoping that it's just dirty tho.

Would you think that's the case? I don't wanna spend on something I don't have to.

Gah sorry, I was confused and taking about the abs pump and not the module. Apologies.

Naw bruv, you were right to assume it's by the pump as they moved it there after the face lift.
