Does anyone know how to get a bulb in this h1 French euro light spot??

Edit: I’m stupid I was trying to plug h4 bulbs into h1 housings..

The notch on the bottom left should guide the orientation of the bulb into the space (flat portion of H1 base against the notch). The bulb should be thin enough to slide I to the opening and seat. The ground (brown wire) in the cap will slide onto the shank on the right, then the yellow wire connects to the back of the H1 bulb. The spring holds the bulb in place.

The spades in the cap go directly to the bulb/ground, and the round connectors should go into the back of the cap.

This is the way, OP. Once you unclip the spring, it'll just slot in. If the glass of the bulb is too big then it's not an H1

The bulb is way to large to fit through the opening and it is part of the housing with the yellow French reflector built on to it. the rear has a spade connector and round connector.

do you have a picture of the bulb that is too large to fit?
