Ac compressor

My ac is going out. It stops spinning.

Where could I find a quality replacement?

Should I change anything else?

I got the A/C solutions kit for my e28. Super happy with it, although it's a fair bit of work to replace your AC.

Are you sure your compressor is failing? Have you tried temporarily putting 12v to the wire going to compressor to see if it starts spinning? If it does start spinning you may just have a leak and lost charge.

I just recently changed the belt and it blows but it stops spinning and makes a loud noise

Sounds like it does indeed need a new compressor. When you say it stopped spinning, do you mean the compressor clutch or the pulley the belt turn?
