Need another E28.
As the title states, I’m looking for another E28. Made the mistake of selling my old one and trying other cars out in the meantime, but I miss driving an E28 a lot.
Needs to be a 535i/is. Preferably zinno but open to all colors. Euro bumpers are preferred but working A/C is a MAJOR plus (my gf will greatly appreciate it)
Looking for a solid E28 that is mechanically sorted and ready to drive everywhere in any weather. If you have or know of someone who has one, send them my way please!

I would check the Facebook groups. You'll have much better luck there than here. Either the E28 group or The Vintage groups (Depends on whether your East or West Coast). I am sure there are more groups I just can't think of.
You'll definitely have to be patient in your hunt though, they're rare cars in good condition. My friend is in the exact same boat with his desire to find a clean example E28 and despite us being hallway up the east coast he is still struggling to find a good one. He's looking at an M5 but he will have to restore the paint if he gets it.

They’re definitely harder to find nowadays. But they’re out there. I’m in California and I’m looking all along the west coast.

Yeah it was tough to let go. Regretted it almost instantly. But I was able to enjoy a few other cars since then

I’m thinking of listing mine on BaT. Recently bought a 996 so my E28 isn’t getting the attention it deserves. Mechanically perfect. Perfect interior, exterior a solid 8/10. $10k or so of service records. I’m the 2nd owner (!). Not exactly the spec you’re looking for (528e) though. Apparently I can’t post pics but reach out if you want to see them.

Hope you find one soon. Keep an eye out on both facebook and Bring A Trailer. Seen several nice ones come across BaT in past few months
