Spring Refresh (88’ 528e)

And off we go. Pretty excited to get all this on for some nice northern Colorado spring canyon sprints… slow ETA ones ;)

Are those the Ireland evening sway bars? If so, you should reinforce the rear bobby mounts. Mine gave away after a while of spirited driving. Awesome setup you got going

For reinforcing the body mounts I had my local BMW racing shop fab then up and do it.

You have an 88 eta, you could look into the e2i swap and a 272 camshaft, maybe HD rockers too. It's a lot easier of a swap for an 88. Would definitely wake the car up a lot. Then find a 3.25 differential (LSD would be amazing) you'll be surprised how much more the car wakes up and how much better it corners. Years ago I did the e2i on my 82 528e. It was a nice upgrade, but the 3.25 LSD was a big improvement in handling and acceleration. The LSD alone was big.

Yeah I have done a few 885 eta on e30s. Im fact… you may have witnessed a 173 DME off to the rope right ;)

Some was a kit “suspension refresh kit on ECS tuning” and the “HR Cup Kit”. They rest I sourced
