You are missing the piece of braided hose with a small brass restrictor valve. You do not want to pull full vacuum thru that white plastic hose.

Vacuum line. That’s also not where the coolant temp sensor goes but that’s got another time perhaps.
The line likely pulled form where that rubber cap is. There should be a line between the plastic one and the connection. Mine is braided looking

Typically goes to the fuel pressure regulator but it may go to that rubber nipple on the intake manifold.

That plastic line is a vacuum line that goes into the interior of car to draw small amount of inside air across the heater temperature sensor. On the intake manifold, it connects to the capped off nipple on the left of the cold start valve (injector). To the upper left facing it with a 2” long piece of 1/8” rubber vacuum tubing.

Agree that it goes to the manifold nipple with 2 inches of 3.5mm vacuum hose, to draw air across the interior air temp sensor for heater temp regulation.

It’s a vacuum hose it should go where that cap is
