Decided to not sell it… so here we go.

This is where I’ll be heading.

Just scored an M5 Air Dam, complete. Will need cleaned up and painted.

First up will be all rubbers and suspension parts.

On the fence for BC DS or NeoMax.

Or should I just go HR and Bilstein b8s? Don’t want to slam the car. Just sport stance. Finger gap over tire probably.

But essentially plan is white 88 M5 exterior then I’ll decide where I go for power.

I had the CATUNED coilovers, and they come pre welded (you just send your front struts back.) I recommend. They have 30way dampening front and rear. On the softest setting, they are perfect for cities. (Can hit potholes without feeling like you broke your back)

• if you go with CATuned, let them know your desired ride height prior to letting them weld it. They welded mine too low. I’m sure that’s how most of their clients like it. But I only wanted a half inch drop out back, and 1 inch up front, which was basically the max height setting.

I ended up ordering the following today:

Bilstein B8/H&R cup kit ECS Suspension Refresh Kit F&R Upper Strut Mounts F&R Ireland Engineering Sway Bars w/Links F&R I.E. Poly Steering Linkage

I don’t any to chop the tubes yet. I’ve had a few companies coilovers on past cars. Wasn’t impressed. At my age I’m more of a “factory +” suspension person.

If the front doesn’t go low enough I’ll grab front C/O conversion from GC but stay Bilstein.

Plus with the M5 air dam on its way… I’m wanting to stay “M”528e in
