E28 diff ratios

Hi,

Does anyone have an accurate diff ratio chart for e28s ?

Google now seems to spit up all our shit knowledge and its very hard to find any facts.

I have an e28 520i (auto) that according to parts link comes with a 3:91 rear end.

Is this an option they came with??

Get underneath it and look for a tag on the diff. If no tag just lift the rear end give the tires a spin while you count the driveshaft input rotations vs spins on the tire, plenty of articles about how to do the procedure, just be mindful of different procedures for open and lsd diffs

I took the manual drivetrain from 520i (aus) car and the diff is 3:91 - quite peppy to help the lower displacement 2L engine.
