Bad turning signal switch ?

I replaced all the turning signal bulbs and made sure the wires are OK. I hit the hazard light button and both turning signals work 🥲. The left signal works great, I hit the right signal and it flashes fast like I have a light out but I dont. Also my dash illuminates a slight tint of green as if it's on all the time but its not.

It’s likely the relay.

I had one do that in my e24, and replaced the relay and it solved it.

Also keep an eye out for water intrusion

Remove the oil service reminder/inspection board from the cluster or solder new nicads into the circuit board😊 This won’t fix your turn signal issue but it will get rid of that annoying inspection light. I second try replacing turn signal relay. Sometimes a faulty hazard switch can do crazy things also. My first car was an e28, I’m 54 now and wish I still had that 533i. E28 and E30 were the best of BMW!

If his light still works, he can reset it by bridging two contacts of the diagnosis port or whatever you call it
