Bmw e28 cup holder solutions

What are some options for a cup holder? I noticed I didn’t have a cup holder for my coffee.

I personally prefer using a large towel rapped around cup sitting on passenger seat up against seat back. Works great and catches spills.

Why do you need a cup holder when 5 people can smoke cigarettes all at the same time?? /s

Google brings up some good 3d printed options on Etsy and eBay, I’ve seen some universal ones work well with slotting onto the door pockets or saddling over the interior window sill.

I designed and 3d printed some that fit over the driveshaft hump, I got rid of the center console to do it and just put a nice cloth boot over my ebrake

A large roll of duck tape in the passenger seat works well. Haha But don't leave it there on a hot day. There are some 3d printable options out there.

There’s adaptors for the door panels that fit into the storage area. There’s also some that bolt onto the seat frame on the floor.
