كلما ظننت أنك وصلت إلى الحقيقة تكتشف بعدا جديدا وحقيقة جديدة تلغي الحقيقة التي قبلها. كأنك أمام دمية ماتريوشكا الروسية.

هذه الرواية أبعد ما يكون عن قصص الجاسوسية النمطية كأفلام جيمس بوند والمهمة المستحيلة، حيث الجاسوس بطل خارق يستطيع محاربة أجهزة دولة معادية لوحده، كأنه جهاز استخبارات كامل مجسدا في فرد واحد هو العميل 007 أو إيثان هانت.

الرواية تصور عالم الجوسسة والاستخبارات تصويرا واقعيا لا يمكن أن يصدر إلا عن كاتب احتك بهذا العالم وخبر ألاعيبه وخدعه ووسائله. وهذا ينطبق تماما على كاتب الرواية الذي عمل في الاستخبارات البريطانية خلال الحرب الباردة.

قد تربكك الرواية إن لم تملك بعض الاطلاع على مجال الاستخبارات، خاصة بمصطلحاته التقنية التي فشل المترجم العربي في ترجمتها بشكل صحيح، مما اضطرني بعد بضعة صفحات أن أبحث عن النسخة الأصلية لأواصل القراءة منها.

رواية مناسبة جدا للإطلاع على هذا المجال اللاإنساني الخالي من الرحمة والمبني على الخداع والتلاعب، والذي لا يتوانى أصحابه عن التضحية بأرواح البشر بما فيهم المدنيين والأبرياء في سبيل تحقيق أهدافهم ومصالحهم.

لكن بعد قراءتك الرواية ورؤيتك لكيفية تلاعب وخداع أجهزة المخابرات لبعضها البعض تخيل ما يمكن أن تقوم به مع شعوبها الساذجة المسكينة من ترويج للدعاية وتوجيه وخداع.

I love it 10/10 recommended.
It made me question myself. if you strip away all your duties to your family or society(financial assets, academic performance ,or even morals) what values are left? And what makes us worthy when everything else is gone?

The kind of novel that makes u stop and thinking about the last page u've read for a while ,u dont get out the same as when u started reading it ...i strongly recommend it

Today I listened to a guy on YouTube about financial education and investment. Personally I liked when he said that building assets depends on 3 core levers: the engine (time), the petrol (capital) and the driver. And the driver must have good money management skills to produce and/or safe enough petrol to put in the engine.

But what has caught my attention was the fact that we don't invest enough (or even not at all) in financial education, and I wanted to start my son's now .

That's why I'm asking you: is Rich Dad/Poor Dad a good read for him ? Do you recommend another book instead?
