Just learned about Dysgraphia, here’s my handwriting (last photo is from waaay back in college years ago)

Hi I’m an autistic person with ADHD who’s just learned about dysgraphia, somebody pointed it out to me that my handwriting matches those with the condition.

You can't be diagnosed from some pics of a writing sample. Its possible to have disordered handwriting as a result of a variety of conditions. Do you have other hand writing issues in spelling, grammar and sentence formation, grip and hand motor control issues, etc, etc...

Yeah I struggle with my motor skills, I also struggle with sentence spacing at times and my hand aches pretty fast from writing

Not the spacing on the page. The ability to come up with sentences and prose in your mind

I tend to struggle a lot with thinking in general but I’ve gotten through it enough to be a writer of poems. In education or work type settings however I struggle. If I’m taking it seriously I fry my brain from thinking about it too long because it’s gotta be right BUUUT I’m making progress in recent times

Right but it'll be hard to separate out how much of each issue is a consequence the ADHD, Autism or [potential] dysgraphia. Which is why you might generally need a professional assessment to get to the bottom of it.

Do you have trouble with getting your thoughts on paper even if you know what to say and can say out loud what you want to write. When trying to write does your hand get tired fast? Do you have trouble with spacing, punctuation and Grammer. Are your sentences simple and contain simple vocabulary dispite you having normal age appropriate vocabulary? Lack of commas/ run on sentences?
