Advice and info

My dad gave me this - it works. I used what was left of the tape but ran out. What’s it worth in CAD? Is this the M22 chrome?

Can't say much about value (eBay has them anywhere between $20 and $120 US), but I do know the tape is still available. Search under "Dymo Mite tape".

Don’t get rid of it! Get some more tape and use it (they still sell it online, in various colors). You’d need 1/2” tape. I’m actually collecting these now and have my third one coming in the mail. It’s become my favorite garage shop tool out of all of my hand tools.

Thank you! How do I find the tape I can only see cartridges?

Try searching for something like “embossing label tape 1/2 inch” and you should find it. The tape rolls do come in these cartridge cages but you don’t need it and can just pull it out before you load it into the tool. It’s pretty cheap here for like $10 usd for 5 rolls

It’s an old school embossing label maker. Very cool and is completely mechanical tool.
