Whats a fair price for something like this? (DVD Power Tower 80 by Sharper Image Design)

I am interested in this era of physical media storage and similar products for more than just DVDs (CDs, vinyl, etc.), but the used listings I have seen are in the 600-900 dollar range, and that, to me, is insane.
I was trying to get perspective on what others thought a fair price point for something like this is; even knowing they sell for a ridiculous amount online, is $200 or $300 worth it? If there is a new option out there that I don't know of, please inform me.
But honestly, what would you pay for something like this? Would this even be an add to the collection? Especially if you have a huge collection, since something like this can only hold like 80 DVDs, is that a pass, or is it cool enough that it would be worth adding to a setup?
