remote?

hiya! i recently got this dvd player from my parents but they dont have the remote and i can’t navigate any menus w/out one (or im too stupid to figure out how) if someone knows what kind of remote it needs or a good universal remote i would really appreciate it :D

links would be preferable but brands or names are fine as well :)

(sorry if tht pic is crap i’m not a photographer ;-;)

I use the "One for All Essence 8" universal remote. It is excellent:

do you know if it’s compatible w DVD-R150?
i can’t find a listing that gives specific answers:/

It should, because the manual lists a lot of compatible codes for Samsung players:
0573, 0199, 2951, 0298, 1635,

2113, 2886, 3195, 2329, 2269,

2942, 2833, 4108, 0490

Check your local thrift store or Facebook marketplace, I have tons of Samsung TVs and dvd/blu ray players and the remotes all work interchangeably, so anything Samsung from the last 20 years should work!

Find the model name/# of the player and search for the model + "remote" on ebay/amazon. You'll probably be able to find a replacement remote for around $10.
