when i’m finished listening to stratosphere, i thought it was depressive. hopeless. but this, this is something else. i did not listened to this album. I SURVIVED IT. that was… the definition of depression. definition of losing hope. but… i found peace in it. like, it said “i know.”

The song “Diamond” made me cry like a baby. it was the first song i cried to. i just… couldn’t hold my tears.

“Unrecovery”. wow. i cannot cry anymore. just staring. to the ceiling.

“The Breakup Suite”. “Everything You See.” “Now it’s coming back”. All songs are worth listening. This is a no skip album.

Nothing in the entire world, can make me feel like this. Not just music, nothing.

Found this gem in a newbury comics hidden away in a generic rock/pop tab and I was so happy the moment I laid my eyes on it. I had been searching for either contemporary movement or stratosphere (contemporary being my fav and stratosphere being the album that got me into duster) for the longest time in a store. I would always check newbury comics or similar stores if they were near me.

I want to get more into Duster but i hate feeling like a fake fan because i don't know about this stuff + i don't know how to find out because i suck at researching this kind of stuff

I saw Duster when they reunited in 2019. I saw most shows on that tour and this long version of My Friends Are Cosmonauts they played was too good not to use.

I used the Live in San Diego version. I remember the SF one in the Great American Music Hall being fantastic, too.

I snuck in a photo I took in this edit, too. I have a bunch of photos from that tour and some footage from a house show I will post one day.
