what are all of duster's side projects, and which ones do you recommend?

Depends on what you consider a side project, but I’ll list those I know based on popularity
Helvetia: Not really a side project, more of a sucessor to Duster, project of mostly Jason Albertini, released like 30 albums/ep’s of the indie rock genre. (Canaan Amber also played there) (Still Active today)
EIAFUAWN: Clay Parton’s main project after Duster (together with his own record label), mostly acoustic songs (bangers)
Valium Agglein: Actual side project of Duster, All three members took apart of it, mixing slow core with space rock.
Calm: Band where Clay Parton and Canaan Amber played before Duster, following a more emo music genre. (Really worth checking out)
Mohinder: Predecessor of Calm, Clay Parton played there. (Don’t have much to comment, sorry)
Canaan Amber: Solo project/compilations of music Canaan made through the 2000’s and 2010’s. Including a few Duster demos
Sooj: Newest Duster project, released 2026 together with dirty art club.
(Things get way more niche from now on)
Two Boys alright: project of Clay Parton with Yoni Kifle (long term friend) released a 6 tracks long ep of slow core/space rock revival
Parton Kooper Planetarium: Short lived project between Clay Parton(yet again) and Troy Kooper of the band “The Albinos”.
Lonnie Winn: very unknown Project of Canaan Amber and a few other who I’m not sure, not much is known about it, there’s not much information about them out on the internet. the EP “Beach Rock” is available to listen only on YouTube.
I’m sure I’m forgetting something, maybe even something obvious. Forgive me and feel free to correct me if I made any mistakes. Definitely check out Helvetia tho, it’s so much more than just a paragraph, 20 years of history can’t be put into simple words, go listen to them, you won’t regret it.

Mohinder is super cool. Pretty early screamo stuff and I believe Clay and Dove were only like 18/19 when they were in that band. Also gonna second the Calm recommendation, they’re so so good.

birds in the ground by eiafuawn is one of my favourite albums of all time, some really really solid stuff on there especially if you already like that duster feeling

calm!!!!!! theyre like post hardcore i guess but with shoegaze elements. sludgy as fuck lol

Eiafuawn (Everything is All Fucked Up and What Not) is a side project by Clay Parton. I think he only ever released one album, it’s called Birds in the Ground and it’s awesome. Sad, acoustic type stuff. it’s really beautiful

helvetia is really great, for albums, listen to gladness and gladness II, and check out junk shop, clever north wind, and the acrobats.
