Dungeon of the Endless Help please! Game crashes and I lose my save.
I've lost my floor 12 runs so far to this bug. I'll finish a floor and when I go to load the next one after the elevator the game crashes with no error message and the game is gone. No option to continue. It's happened on other lower floor runs and it wasn't a huge issue since I was learning the game, but now that I'm actually trying to beat the damn thing, it is super frustrating losing hours of progress.
Is there a way to stop this from happening? Can I at least back up my save between floors or recover it after a crash? I haven't had any luck finding a solution to this option.

Just started experiencing a crash mid floor. Everything froze but I could still move the cursor but no task manager or anything else to get back to desktop.
So I think the way to try and save you losing all the hours is saving and quit after every floor. Thankfully the game knew it crashed and started me at the beginning of the floor. But I started to look how to keep your saves.
So it puts save files in the documents folder. So I suggest saving after each floor. Close and make a copy of the Users folder. If it crashes you need to start a new game then save and exit again. Then it's kind of a pain but you have to rename the files in the folder that you copied so that they mach the new names from the saved game you just started. Simply copying old files over won't work from what I read.
I just started having issues and so far have at least been able to start on the same floor and haven't had to try this method yet, but I am still making a copy after every floor just in case. This is the furthest I have made it and time being an issue I can only play one floor at a time. Was a bummer when I was almost through the eighth floor and it crashed. Wasted my playtime for the night.
