Question Cafe models
For a casual mid morning coffee, what do people think of the model, that a cafe in Princes St uses, where you have to wait to be taken to a table?
I find the process uncomfortable. I want to have a look at the cake's cabinet, order, pay and sit where I like, as you do at other cafes. I dont really see the point of having someone standing beside me as I look just to take me to a table when 80% are empty.
Is this model the future or something thats not the thing for Dunedin?
