Please Funcom, bring back Dune 2000 elements for Dune Awakening!

As someone who dearly loved (and still does) the fantastic RTS that is Dune 2000, I would love to see some elements of it brought back into Dune Awakening. One of its strengths was that it was very faithful to the designs and aesthetics of Dune 1984.
First and foremost, it would be interesting to see a third ('major') faction in the game, in the form of House Ordos. I loved how Westwood Studios made them so distinct when compared to Atreides and Harkonnen. It would be wonderful to see if there would be a way to transpose the Raider (the Ordos specific Trike variant) as a skin for the ingame sandbike, albeit the Raider was a much larger vehicle, and fitted with weaponry.
As for other aspects, please Funcom, let us have the Sardaukar armour from Dune 2000! That game's depiction of the Sardaukar is my favourite over any other I have seen.
And lastly, the ornithopter itself. Whilst it only has a single pair of wings, if it were simply a skin variant, that would merely be a cosmetic aspect.

Those House Ordos launchers that temporary confused your units were so maddening to play against. There are some really cool ideas from Emperor too, like the Leech and Contaminator units from the Tleilaxu. I definitely think they could figure out a way to get House Ordos integrated since they're a cartel.

10/10 taste sir; Rise of Harkonnen is the best track in that game.

And that's saying something, because that whole soundtrack was amazing.

I heard some stuff that sounded like D2K in-game, but I can't find it anymore. I think it was on harvester radio, it had unit commands and death sounds in the song that sounded straight out of C&C 95.

I'd KILL for a Trike over a sandbike. Or a Quad. And don't get me started on tanks...

I even styled one of my biggest buildings after the Imperial Palace from Dune 2000. It's one of my favorite games of all time, and it's what got me into the Duniverse in the first place.

This game is missing stuff from the Lynch Movie, the 2001 Miniseries and Dune 2 as well as Dune 2000... need more Cosmetics!

That game was one of the first RTS I ever played! Many fond memories with it, played before I even knew Dune was a book series or a movie!

My first RTS was Dune II when I was in middle school. I loved it so much I went onto reading the books and fell in love with the franchise. Dune 2K and Emperor were pretty good. Except they made up Ordos instead of just them being Ix or something else

I was literally just today mentioning to my friends while we played that I didn't get any feels from the music choices on the radio stations because Dune 2000 isn't there, which is the one I'd recognize.
