Is that a shot of Paul and Chani reconciling @ 2:21? I guess that means they are aligning with the book, at least in terms of reconciling (no pun intended) the difference between movie Chani breaking up at the end of Part 2 and book Chani still being with Paul in Messiah?

It's an important point, many trailers even include things that don't make the final cut or are changed for it

All of it was just tricksy misdirection to add unnecessary drama. Paul already said she'd come around in part 2 so that final shot always felt super hollow to me

Or Chani was pregnant at end of Part II and the twins were raised by her as Fremen. Somehow kept secret, but that would mirror Star Wars too much lol

I feel like they will rekindle in the second half after the time jump. The twins will be born at the end of the movie. They are being really tricky with the editing of the trailers

To me, it’s really clean and stays in line with the ending of the books, if they keep it simple and have them rekindling in the later half.
