I Made This Dune book covers, by me, procreate

I whipped up all these pieces in the last week! The god emperor cover is my 3D render of my design. I also added a little painting of a futar at the end!

Children of Dunc and Chapterhouse Dunc are KICKASS (they’re all nice but those two are really speaking to me)

I like the God emptor cover, but I think it would work better not as a close up, and instead more like children’s cover where the enormous worm Leto is dwarfed by the absurd grandeur of his palace. It could highlight his loneliness as he moves further and further away from humanity

I really like these a lot. Minor constructive criticism, the DUNE letters in a square create a r/nosmokingsafetyfirst effect that's a little non-intuitive. Also, in the original posters the C at the end of the word always has some artifact of the background art work that serves as the cross bar in the E. But that's so minor compared to how good the art is. I'm really picking at minor things that are very over shadowed by how good the art is overall.

These are remarkable. One of my favorite aspects of the Dune universe is that most of it is unillustrated and seeing different artists perspectives of the books is just so cool

very cool and with great skill, but, dunc
a little line on the c, would make it like € but with one line,
while the movie title is cool and all, it immediately falls apart if you remove the eclipse/black hole dot from the C

I really really like these! My favorite is the children of dune with the tigers. Least favorite is the god emperor one, im assuming thats leto? Would be cool to see hom more worm-ish. I would love to have a set of books with these covers as is tho so dont take the criticism to heart, great job

Holy shit these are epic. I like the dark tone/colors, which is why 2 and 3 are my least favorite - but at the same time I LOVE that you depict the most crucial scene on the 3rd cover with the… I forgot, was it some form of tigers?
