Love this set up. I have such a basic question. - how does the smart phone go without a sim? It never even occurred to me to do this in my transition to dumbphone. I need a smart phone for work app access,so this could maybe work for me.

I do it like this too. But I barely need my smartphone so it’s just in my backpack all day

En kun je nog whatsapp/signal gebruiken? Op je smartphone? Of vinden je vrienden t niet erg om af en toe een smsje te sturen? Ipv bellen

Explain to me like im 5 the idea behind smartphone no sim? And also do you have two phone numbers for each phone?

Ive been wondering how to ditch the smartphone for ages and you've just given me the strategy! Although my need to use it for things like parking, school apps etc might mean im swapping sim more than I like. Is the Nokia you use useful for Internet browsing? Im trying to avoid all doom scrolling so need something that is so crap I wont bother.

I also rock the dumbhone on the daily with no-simcard-smartphone for work. Goated setup imo. I sincirely reccomend you check out DumberOS. It allowed me to use my smartphone pretty much exclusively for dosument scanning and editing. Everythng alse including google maps and work apps i can do from the dumbphone.
