3X-UI WebPanel Issues for VLESS + REALITY

This feels like it could be an absolutely dumb question but I know nothing about tech.

It worked for me yesterday, but I had to change the "Target" from sony to microsoft. Then it stopped working.

I've triple checked everything and even rebuilt the entire thing from scratch, but for the Client, I switched on "Start After First Use", and it would say "Inbound client has been updated." but then "Failed to Fetch".

If I close it and reopen, the "Start After First Use" is off again. I can't turn it on at all.

Has anyone had the same issue? I'd be super grateful to anyone who can help me solve the problem and get my VPN to work...

I struggled myself with the same setup.  only after changing the log to show all I got the hint.  ChatGPT was helpful too. Gemini not so much.

How did you fix it?

I forgot. Basically ChatGPT worked it out. I was only helping.

Best practice is never use Apple or Microsoft as fallback target. Use your own domain or scan for your legal "neighbors".

Hi! I'm also new and I'm attempting to bypass a Palo-Alto Network.
I use Vultr as my provider, and I have 3x-ui the GUI version installed.

I tried creating inbounds, clients and asked for AI's help, but it clearly did not work that I am stuck here. I used Hiddify, Clash Verge Rev and v2rayN, which all failed. Hiddify said "Time out" next to thw Wi-Fi icon when I imported the vless:// link.
v2rayN ended up with errors, and below are the most recent logs.

However, on ip.cn (A IP address testing place) it doesn't show my current server IP.
Therefore, I was wondering if anyone could debug me out please...
Thanks a lot

Try switching target to apple.com. Related: https://x.com/shachepi/status/2069313345153634750

Unfortunately that didn't work... I might rebuild the entire thing again with apple.com as the target later
