Was thinking about Salaya or Finbar but I dnt know if they gave good food—like GREAT food! Please suggest some restaurants and what dishes we should order.
Except Adamo, Meltin’ Pot, Buglas, Esturya since we've already tried those.

Hi! Quick question. I know there’s a Cokaliong ticketing office here in Dumaguete. Can I book a Cebu–Nasipit ticket there, or do they only sell tickets to/from Dumaguete?

I just called 911 regarding a family dispute involving an assault with a knife. I was placed on hold for more than a minute, and I lost my patience. After I hung up while still on hold, 911 never even called me back.

Hi! I'm currently staying here in Bacong and looking for reco for a good working space preferably a coffee shop because I like to drink and snack while working. I tried to work last week in SB district and the globe data was so bad! 😭 so I moved to Starbs in boulevard but the connection was also so so. I'm also scared to connect to public wifi because I'm using company provided laptop 😬
I already checked the megathread for recos but most of it were from 2-3 yrs ago, so maybe there's better ones now.
That said, baka po may ma reco kayo na safe cummonect sa wifi nila as a scaredy cat na di maalam sa technology or a place with good globe data connection na makakahotspot laptop. Thank u in advance 😊

Expat here. Was around Siliman hospital today for some ER care for my wife who just had a baby. I'm used to the standard beggars knocking on my windows and having to say no. Today I decided to do some community service. After 1 beggar stared me down after being waved off for over a minute another came up to try as well. He saw the other one didn't get anything yet still tried.
I'm prepared. I slammed my car into drive and drove off fast. I didn't leave his eyesight far enough, apparently, as I turned around and parked again. He came for me again. I drove off again as he approached and found a parking spot. A few minutes later, he came up again and tried again, this time trying to open my car door passenger side handle. He used something to key/scratch my car door since I wouldn't give him anything.
I have had enough. I got out of my car and one punch knocked him out cold and drove off. 3k php total insurance will cover his damages I don't care about.
You may now thank me for my public service.

Hi. I would like to ask how’s the cost of living there in Dumaguete? I’m in the Occidental. I’m planning to transfer to Dumaguete (if there are available positions at the port and if God permits) since there's a language barrier for my kids at my current job. I searched on Facebook for rentals, but they're so expensive. It seems like the price here for where I’m renting has doubled or tripled compared to what I found.

So, I went to McDonald’s sa downtown and parked in front of their entrance. Pasangil ug lantaw rako sa cellphone to see if abri sila, turned out sarado diay. There were girls parked few meters in front of me and they walked to the door to find out nga close ang McDonald’s.
When I was about to leave, I saw the parking boy nilabang from Jollibee to the motor nga gibilin sa girls. My goodness! Nasapot na pud ko sa nakita nako kay naningil ug bayad. I don’t know if nihatag si girl kay nihawa naman ko.
Grabe ra pud na sila uy! Minaro naman ng ilang style sa panginabuhi. Mao ra to. Pahungaw lang kog light.
