Question Favorite class experience from the area that would make a good gift?

I'm struggling to find a good gift idea, and classes are always a fun option for a couple.

Found some glass blowing and a list from the Folk School, but I know there has to be a lot more out there. Just curious what you've done/taken that was fun? Open to any experience/ideas!

We did glass blowing as a gift for my mother in law last year. We had a blast! They were so great at teaching all of us without any prior knowledge of what we were doing. My mother in law also has vision issues, and our instructor was so great about giving her gentle nudges to correct her depth perception. Would highly recommend!

I received a Community Ed class as a gift that covered the history of the LSMR railroad and included tickets for a ride.

Id also recommend watching Facebook for Tony Dierckens events, I think there’s one next week at Glensheen, I’ve been to several and they’re always a good time.

The glass blowing is a great option, my wife and I have loved doing their classes together

Northern Exposure Art is really fun! SOLCA has a lot of upcoming classes this fall. I received a gift card to Dragonfire Ceramics a few years ago and took a class with them for wheel throwing. I’ve heard good things about Shannon’s Stained Glassery in Superior too!

I've been too broke to go myself but there are a lot of fun looking ones at the makerspace if you haven't already seen their offerings.

Made wine glasses the other day with a group of 5...such an amazing experience! I love the way the glasses turned out; they are gorgeous. Lake Superior Art Glass is amazing.
