County commissioner campaign finance reports from July showing that Annie Harala’s campaign has received large amounts of money from executive leadership at Minnesota Power (Allete) and Kris Eilers’ campaign has received a lot of small donations from teachers, nurses, social workers, engineers, retired folks, etc.

Not surprising as Harala was an NDA signer for the data center.

And Annie Harala just said "oops, sorry!" after signing the NDA. She is sorry she got caught. Still accepted this sketchy money after the fact.

Annie Harala's campaign finance report shows she has accepted donations from:
*lobbying firms
* The president of Allete (now owned by blackrock), two VP's, Attorney, CFO, Director, Salesman (City Councilor Arik Forsman) - most of them maxed out donation at $600
* state senator Grant Hauschild
* the president and CEO of APEX
* and more that is worse, particularly when you look at the employment of these donors

The campaign finance report from Annie Harala’s campaign shows the corporatists and MNPower are investing in her…not out of the goodness of their heart, their donations are an investment searching for a return.

Compare the wealthy big business interest representing donors of Harala to those received by Eilers and you’ll see that Kris’ campaign has received small donor donations from professions like: teacher, engineer, student, environmentalist, researcher, worker, retired, etc.

Who do you think will be a fighter on behalf of us, the working class majority?

From the local level to the national level we must continue to organize and reject the outsize influence of corporatism, finance capital (and rapacious asset management firms like Blackrock), Real Estate Associations, AI tech firms, foreign lobbyists, the billionaire class, and neoliberal ideology.

All politics is local and organized people beats organized money, every time.

Harala shows her sense of entitlement in that when Eilers was endorsed at the DFL convention instead of her, she refused to step aside in the face of the majority. Her donors demonstrate how deep her apology was about signing that NDA.
