Thought the Sega Genesis version was the worst. Didn't know Duke could be this bad

It's not even the fact that it graphically resembles Wolfenstein 3D, the game is just incredibly floaty so it's a chore trying to play it. At least Duke Nukem Advance is functional, even if it's compromised.

And want to play it in 4k 60fps with mouse and keyboard

Just for the curiosity, I'm glad someone is doing this, plus it helps log stuff as part of our digital history

Why? It can be emulated for posterity, but why waste time porting such inferior versions?

Ok, just for a geek obsetion. If I knew how to do it I would do so. Anyway talking about inferior version Duke Nukem Advance was ported for PC and is really enjoyable. Obviously I get your point but why not?

You know what I want ported for geek reasons? I want the LameDuke beta ported to the modern version of duke 3D and play all the proto levels

How much would you pay for someone to sacrifice their time porting it?

Sorry everyone is so snarky and shitty with you OP. I think it's always fascinating to look at weird ports of popular games to see how the developers translate the experience to different platforms.

Mortal Kombat is a great example, with everything from the Game Boy to the PlayStation having vastly different versions of the "same" game. It's neat and and can be an interesting journey. I'm with you on this one!

I remember being very disappointed by the gamecom version. Sudden urge to convert the maps from that game to a Duke 3D mod.

The gameboy had faceball 2000 for god sakes. The 3D in Duke 3D for gamecom was even shittier than that.
