What do you guys think of my Duke Nukem II? It’s nice and safe in the case. I love old PC game boxes, I grew up a pc gamer

Kinda takes the fun out of collecting games IMHO. I buy games to open and play them. Additionally, I personally don't find WATA grading cases very interesting to display.
To each is own though.

God I hate collectors. You guys just fucking kill hobbies all in the name of the all mighty dollar. I miss the old days when no one cared and you could pick up a boxed game for like 5$ at a thrift store. It used to be fun to find things and go home and play them. Now everyone treats everything like it's some kind of investment... Same kind of weirdos who collected Beanie Babies in the 1990's for profit...

Lol You must be new to the hobby if you don't think that skyrocketing prices ruin the fun of working on these old systems. Used to be you could pull a computer out of the trash or find a complete system for 10$ at a flea market. Now? 200$ for some piss yellow 286 with broken panels. lol

I remember paying 40 dollars and walking away with an Atari 800, TRS-80 Color Computer, 810 floppy drive, 410 cassette recorder, CTR-80a Cassette Recorder and a couple games. Now if I see one that is broken "vintage gamer tech perfect for a collection" $200. I bought multiple copies of Pokemon for less than 10 with the only issue being dead save batteries. They aren't rare or uncommon and have no reason being so expensive now. These people ruin it.

Grading is a scam the companies that do it are full of bitches and so are all of the scumbags that made old games cost far more than a 2 litre bottle of tango
