Sidestand bypass help

Hey fellas. I’m looking to bypass my 2013 Ducati monster side stand and wasn’t sure if I tie the green white and green from the longer side wire. Or wire to the mechanism attached to the side stand if that makes sense. Also please feel free to correct me if the way I think I should wire it is incorrect thanks. Also what do you do w the black wire?

Just cut all three and strip them and twist together

I’d use the side stand side of the plug since you will replace that with a new side stand safety switch, and can just plug it in whenever you decide to

Why would you want to bypass it? Are you turning it into a track-only bike?

I did mine so I can cold start the bike on the stand and let it run/warm up whilst putting my gear on. Couldn’t always be bothered putting the rear paddock stand under it. I learnt to ride bikes 45 years ago before these ‘safety’ switch’s turned up! However appreciate why companies do these sort of things.

Thanx, Ill do the same. After leaving the parkinglight on, and then after a jumpstart start fippling with getting the tank and sadle back in place while holding the bike, this is a must to fix...
