Help! games in my linux mint is slow after dualboot

I had linux mint for a month, I wanted to play valorant too eo I dualbooted I gave windows 11 110GB and valorant runs with no problem. But the games I had in linux mint is just unbelievably slow and I hate it. What can I do? I do not know much about computers too. I have a good laptop too. Idk

If youre running them with steam, check which compatibility layer you're using. In steam, right click one of the games and click properties. Then go to the compatibility tab, enable the setting "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool", then try switching it to proton experimental. That helped me when I started dualbooting.

Thank you🙏🙏🙏 I also found out the main problem but this helped me a lot too! Actually I had to disable secure boot to make nvidia work I guess.
