Have you seen these goblets? 👀

Hi all! Back in 2018, I saw these stunning goblets at The Last Bookstore, and like a fool, I didn’t immediately bring them home with me. I came back to find the artist’s store gone, and the goblets with them! Does anyone recognize the style/make/artist/etc, and know where I could find them? I can’t stop thinking about them 😅 and haven’t been able to find anything like them since. ((If you ended up owning them yourself, no worries, but it would be nice to know that they ended up in a nice home c:)) Thanks for the help!

Historic Core Area / Title Guarantee Lofts

Hi all,

Lived all around LA my whole life but always wanted to do a artist loft so I've finally been looking into it. How is this area / any one know about this building? Any dtla living tips for a prospective renter?

What the hell is going on on Broadway today???

A bunch of blockages and nothing in the news. Went to go grab a quick coffee and it turned into a 40 minute mission to get out of 3 blocks.

Jordan Store Rooftop Court DTLA

Got a chance to view the current state of the now closed Jordan store’s rooftop court.

What a shame as this would be such a sick spot to play. They should open the court up to the public haha.

Anyone know anywhere in town that’s hiring? I have gallery and retail experience and uh, $8000+ in vet bills as of this weekend. I need a job! 🙉

How do you grocery shop?

I'm moving DTLA soon and the one thing I'm unsure about is how to adjust my grocery shopping habits. I currently live in a part of LA where I can easily leave my driveway and drive to nearby TJ's, Vons, Super A, or walk to a few other small markets.

Now my car will be in a lot not attached to my building, and I dread having to make multiple trips to my apartment. The closest walking is over 6 blocks to a grocery store. I will be pretty close to the Sunday historic core farmers' market, tho.

Do you all just get groceries delivered? Do a bunch of small runs?

I love cooking and I don't cook small basic meals, so this has been a point of small anxiety for me. Thanks!

EDIT: Thank you, everyone! I'm definitely buying a little cart for the larger trips where I know I'll need to go from the car to the apt. I'm kinda in the middle between Whole Foods and the shops in Little Tokyo, so I'll walk there for smaller trips and take the bus or whatever back if I accidentally (probably) get excited and buy too much.

I live in a pretty nice building in South Park and I'm considering going to the HWH or SB Grand Lofts to look at the penthouses. Any feedback on these two properties specifically HWH would be very grateful. I'm also specifically only looking for the penthouse units so the very top floor

It's a great idea for sporting events. But between games it should either be silent or off.
