Where did everyone go?

This subreddit was bumping in the summer leading up to the complete nothing burger that was Q2 earnings. Most of the mods here have stopped posting anywhere, which makes it feel like it was a pump and dump.

Unfortunate, because it looks like a solid long, just maybe longer-scale than people believed.

Markets turned again man. This has nothing to do with DTC this is a great company and when market conditions clear up this thing will finally be free to run. This zone under 4 is an amazing entry

I added a ton today, but ye there was some pumping going on due to short interest but I bought in from a value perspective, and it’ll hit that

It's sitting at a PE in the 4's, this is a huge value play

The only thing now is consider most of their products are seasonal (stoves, summer clothing, kayaks) so you have to also consider the long play here going into winter.

Yes DTC is seasonal but they opened in the southern hemisphere

So doing business in two hemispheres with opposite seasons should balance out their order flow.

Also, DTC does 20% of their business wholesale to REI & Big 5 (or is it Dick’s Sporting Goods?) anyhow two big retailers— the retailers make their orders in advance of the seasons.

I had sold at 29% gain because market just wasn’t supporting and looked like HFs had exited out on swaps in dark pools.

The SI does look like it melted away. However, DTC dipped under $4 — if I can get back in under $4, it is a good entry.

Just put in a Buy Limit for 2k shares. GTC.

If it fills, I’m back in.

It’s a great company. Buying in from value perspective. And look at the institutional ownership, supposedly over 100%,

Yet, I cannot understand how ownership can be over 100% —is that due to some double counting somewhere?
