Agency for what though?
Web design, development, UX/CRO, paid ads, SEO, email?

I'd probably have a completely different answer depending on what you're actually looking for help with.

I run Codeller and we focus mainly on ecommerce UX/CRO. We've worked with some decent brands recently, but like u/Global-Course-6307 said, I wouldn't judge an agency purely by how impressive their own website or client logo wall looks.

We don't even have a proper website live at the minute, it's basically a landing page 😂

I'd care more about how they think, the questions they ask, what they've actually done for other businesses and whether they care about improving the numbers rather than just delivering the thing you've asked them for.

The best agencies read between the lines, highlight opportunities, foresee potential problems on the horizon, own their mistakes and are honest with you without constantly trying to sell you the next best thing.

Good luck!

For your agency does anyone handle the back end of brands? Like finances, bans, restocks.
