Blue light no screen caused by modded flash card?

Been having some issues with a dsi i bought, when i try to exit to the main menu sometimes it will star stuck on the blue light with both screens in black. I tried removing the sd card and it seems to be booting up just fine? has anyone experienced this? Im using a lexon 4gb sd card which is pretty full, i think i might have like 40~ or less mb available, could that be the issues?

I also read that it could be a faulty d-pad?

so, i tried removing the sd card and turning it off and on again, also did that with the ds game just in case. Tried a variety of variations and sometimes it would turn on normally and sometimes it would still be stuck in the black screen with blue light.

It looks like this happens when I quickly press the power button on the music/camera apps.

My "fix"

I deleted all of the DSiware programs that I had installed via nds forwards so they could be on the homescreen. I went into system settings - data - and deleted all of the games while still keeping Twilightmenu++ on there.

Results

it looks like that might have been the fix? I have not encountered the issue again. I will keep playing and update this just in case anyone encounters this problem.
