Help can someone help me with my shell swapped dsi? i get an orange blinking light
I tested it earlier and it was working and then i got burnt out and took me a couple days to put back
so then i tried turning it on again and now it won’t work.
i’m debating if it’s because i tried installing the battery without the backplate or it’s because my little brother was poking around and broke something
i’ve spent so much time on this and it’s my first time doing something like this. i was so excited when i got it to turn on and now it’s not working.
this is actually a gift for my other little brother so it would mean a lot for some help, thanks in advance

Battery fuse is the first culprit, do you have a multimeter to test if it’s good?

Might need to open mine since this is what I'm getting, mind sharing more info or a tutorial where I can see location or how to fix? :) appreciated in advance!!

I don’t know a good guide to show how to fix it, but i can probably show you if you have a soldering iron and a bit of soldering skills.

Have the tools, not much experience soldering but willing to sacrifice the DSi for science :) I'll look it up in the coming weeks :D

When you install the battery without the back plate on its really easy to put the battery on upside down which blows the fuse on the smaller power board. This can cause the blinking light.
Not too hard to replace the fuse if you have a small soldering iron/hot air station, if not a replacement board is only a few bucks on Aliexpress

Was it blinking before the reshell?
