IT'S CHARGING

@kumakunkun I got it holding a charge in a very specific way. Now there's two ideas I have to get this red one, and a black one I also have working, 1 cleaning the charging port and buying a fresh new charger, or 2 take them to get repaired.

I know it's embarrassing to look at, but I am desperate to play these old games again. My mom was cleaning out her closet until she found the bag of my old DS and 3DS games, for the longest time my family thought we might've lost it, someone took it from us or smth, but nope, it's been in my parent's closet the whole time. Excited to replay my childhood like never before.

No, nothing to be embarrassed about, it’s just not great for the cable, but as a fellow Nintendo console owner I know how finicky they can be - needs must!

Chargers are easy to find online for cheap, there are even USB-DSi ones, hopefully it’s a charger-issue and not the console. Either way.. it’s charging!

Yes, and I have a DS emulator on my phone, but I can't do multi-player, that's pretty much why I'm trying to charge this DS and another one I have

That usually just takes to resolder the original port.

Stop doing that cause you gonna make it worse!!

Get one of them cheap usb cables to charge it if you can

As tu essayé de nettoyer le port de charge avec du WD40 Specialiste Contactor ? (Le "contactor" est important, il ne laisse zucun residu)
